God chooses to save us unconditionally, we are not saved based on our own merit..
L - Limited Atonement
Christ's sacrifice on the cross serves the purpose of saving those who are elect..
I - Irrestible Grace
When someone has been chosen or elected to salvation by God, he or she will be saved.
P - Perseverance of the Saints
Those people who God has chosen for salvation cannot loose their salvation..
